one-year and two-year options, gain clinical exposure with a strong emphasis on research, develop a strong foundation in scientific methodology, often working evenings and weekends alongside academic residents and attendings from specialties like plastic surgery
conduct patient intake, assist nurses, perform pulmonary function testing, triage phone calls, assist doctors with medical notes, format consultation reports and send to primary care and/or referring providers
