We are an upscale plastic surgery practice on the Upper East Side of Manhattan associated with two medical spas (Upper East Side and Flatiron) looking to hire medical assistants to begin in April-May 2025. Position requires 1 full year commitment.  Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with office procedures (injections, mole removals, scar revisions) and consultations (mostly aesthetic) with surgeons and nurse injectors.
• Sterilize operating equipment, keeping the operating room and treatment rooms stocked.
• Giving pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients.
• Checking in patients for surgery and helping them recover afterwards.
• Circulating during surgical procedures (breast augmentations, liposuctions, facelifts etc.) with the potential to eventually scrub in during some operations.
• Performing Coolsculpting, a non-invasive fat reduction technology.
• Managing patient flow, scribing, medical documentation.
• Helping Dr. Rapaport and the team develop the business through marketing, social media, and more.

We are looking for someone who is hard-working, honest, outgoing, and interested in a Medical Assistant job that includes real patient contact.  This is a job where you will gain valuable experience and have the opportunity to learn from one of the best surgeons in NY.  A commitment until June 2026 is required; however, additional time may be an option.  Previous medical experience is preferred but not necessary.
