About This Opportunity
This is a clinical mentorship gap opportunity being offered in a private ophthalmology practice on the Upper East Side of New York City. Our practice specializes in Laser Vision Correction surgery, the diagnosis and treatment of dry eye, meibomian gland dysfunction, blepharitis, ocular rosacea, environmental allergies, and demodex.
Our practice is progressive and cutting edge, using state-of-the-art technology. This position focuses on direct patient care providing unparalleled hands-on medical experience. Clinical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, taking patient histories, assisting physician/surgeon with patient examinations and procedures, documenting medical encounters/scribing, performing diagnostic tests, educating patients, preparing charts, amongst other tasks. Must be a team player and willing to perform other functions as needed.
The ideal candidate is smart, intuitive, highly motivated, high energy, mature, professional, responsible and dependable, with an abundance of positive energy.

This is also a mentorship/sponsorship program; Dr. Muller will support, advise, promote, and advocate for you as she guides and helps you navigate your medical school application process.
This is a paid opportunity with a starting salary of $ 37,500.00/year (which increases over time), PLUS a year-end bonus, and a significant graduation gift upon completion of our program.

We have one position available with a January 6, 2025, start date (for a December graduate). This position has an end date of July 31, 2026.
Additionally, we have two positions available with a June 2, 2025, start date each with an end date of July 30, 2027.
