JOB DESCRIPTION: Clinical Assistant

We are currently looking to fill full-time and part-time positions in our Princeton office. This position is ideal for pre-health and pre-medical students on gap years, as well as students who are currently able to work any full day shifts (M-F, 9am – 5pm). Summer opportunities are also available for applicants at our other locations.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Helps patients by providing information, services, and assistance.
  • Verifies patient information by triaging patients, recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of the visit.
  • Does office prep including calling for medical reports and preparing charts for appointments
  • Inputs physician’s orders
  • Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
  • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
  • Helps with Administrative Assistant Coverage and Neurosurgical Office hour coverage
  • Travel between locations may be required as discussed in your interview
  • All other tasks as assigned by your direct manager or the physician

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) -preferred
  • 1+ years in a medical office - preferred
  • Experience with EMR (electronic medical records), medical terminology - preferred
  • Previous experience in a specific medical field preferred – preferred

ALL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED IN-OFFICE – NO FORMAL TRAINING OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
