A post-baccalaureate position is available in Dr. Sreeganga Chandra’s lab in the Departments of Neuroscience and Neurology at Yale University School of Medicine. We are seeking motivated undergraduates interested in doing neuroscience research for 1-2 years. The lab investigates the molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration, with a focus on Parkinson’s disease. We employ a wide range of techniques, including protein biochemistry, mass spectrometry, confocal imaging and electron microscopy using patient-derived iPSCs and mouse models.
The applicant should have a BS in molecular/cell biology, biochemistry, neuroscience or genetics as well as good communication skills. Prior research experience is a plus.
