PALS is made possible by the hundreds of volunteers that join us each season. See for yourself why so many PALS volunteers keep coming back year after year for the best week of the summer!
PALS Programs creates inclusive summer camp experiences for young people with Down syndrome and their peers. Participants with Down syndrome are paired one-to-one with a peer without Down syndrome, and together they build transformative, lifelong friendships while learning the true meaning of inclusion. Our programs are held on college campuses across the country and typically run between the months of June to August. Programming includes a dynamic blend of unique on-campus activities, and off-campus trips to explore local sites and attractions, while participants experience life on a college campus. No experience is needed to participate in a PALS program, and all are welcome and encouraged to join us. Please visit palsprograms.org for a current list of our program dates and locations, and to complete our participant application.
