Volunteer: National Student Advocacy Committee (NSAC)

April 15, 2021

We are happy to share an exciting opportunity! Prescription Justice is a national non-profit organization that brings together doctors, lawyers, public health advocates, and political activists dedicated to lowering prescription drug prices in the United States.

We are recruiting undergraduate, medical, law, and/or graduate students interested in working together on our National Student Advocacy Committee (NSAC) to help gain further legislative support on Prescription Justice’s advocacy goals, develop and establish additional legislative goals, and design legislative advocacy techniques that can help students across the country fight for lower drug prices. More details about the NSAC, its responsibilities, and its requirements can be found here in document form.

Because Prescription Justice is a relatively new organization, working on the NSAC will be an opportunity to grow with us, learn about important healthcare legislation, and collaborate with elected officials and press contacts at the national, state, and local levels to end the prescription drug pricing crisis. You will also have the opportunity to receive reliable references and/or letters of recommendation for graduate programs.

Interested in joining our National Student Advocacy Committee? Please complete this google form by 11:59 PM PST on May 1st, 2021. If you have trouble accessing the form or have any questions/concerns, please contact nsac.prescriptionjustice@gmail.com.
