design, conduct and analyze cell-based assays

Post-doc Dr. Mark Carty is seeking an exceptionally motivated intern scientist to assist in the development and implementation of a probabilistic model to detect active enhancers and to also identify differential enhancer activity across different biological conditions from data generated by a new next-generation sequencing based assay to detect enhancers. Background in biology, computer science, or statistics is highly desirable though not required.  Job Requirements: Design, conduct and analyze cell-based assays; Organize, coordinate and execute project assignments; Interpret results and present findings; Prepare written final reports; Contribute to model development, implementation, and troubleshooting; Proficiency in Python or R.
