The Integrating Special Populations Core of the New Jersey Alliance for Clinical and Transformational Science is hosting a webinar on Tuesday, June 14th at 12:00pm featuring Dr. Katie Devine, PhD, MPH of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey giving a presentation titled “Using Technology to Engage Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Cancer Survivors in Health Interventions.”
Dr. Devine will discuss the unique needs of adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer and challenges in recruiting and retaining AYA survivors in research. She will present the development and evaluation of an online self-management and peer mentoring intervention designed to empower AYA survivors to take responsibility for their healthcare as they transition from pediatric to adult healthcare settings.
