What departments' courses are part of your science GPA?
Any course in any department where the course materials was at least 50% biology, chemistry, physics, or math, can be classified on the medical school application under that discipline.
The AMCAS Course Classification guide provides general guidance. EEB, MOL, and NEU would typically fall under Biology, for example, and CBE, ORF, and other BSE department courses would typically fall under Engineering (except COS, which has its own category).
But you can designate based on course content rather than discipline. So ORF 245, which is a statistics course, can be classified under MATH instead of Engineering.
