Nov 17 | Princeton Disability Awareness Carnival

Nov. 1, 2024

original email from RockyWire

Dear Princeton students,

We are members of the Princeton Disability Awareness Carnival (PDAC), founded in 2007 by a group of students devoted to disability awareness, education, and inclusion through carnivals. Since then, PDAC has been hosting major events on Princeton’s campus to promote these goals while bringing together the Princeton student body and the larger community.

This semester, we’re excited to announce our fall carnival, where children with disabilities and their families are invited to enjoy a fun-filled day on campus. The success of this event depends on the Princeton students who volunteer part of their day to spend time with the guests. As a volunteer, you’ll be paired one-on-one with a participant as their buddy for the day, helping them enjoy various activities.

Event Details:
Date: Sunday, November 17th
Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (We request volunteers work from 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM)
Location: Carl A. Fields Center

If interested, please fill out the following interest form: Interest Form.

We will send out additional information in the next few weeks as we get closer to the official date.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact any of the board members: Nina Su ([email protected]), Chae Rin Yang ([email protected]), and James Lee ([email protected]).

Best,
PDAC Board
