Want to make a difference and help enact change during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond?

If so, join Princeton’s chapter of Students vs Pandemics!

Modelled after similar campaigns at Harvard and UCLA, Students vs. Pandemics Princeton is a student group which seeks to alleviate the burdens posed by COVID-19 and make a positive impact in times of crisis. We are a collaborative group of students from different academic and geographic backgrounds looking to use our diverse experiences and perspectives to enact positive change. More info is on our website.

What types of projects do we work on?

Anything that can help people! We’re super open to new ideas (and funding them). In the past, we’ve made an encouragement and appreciation video for healthcare workers, organized a gear fundraiser for the Coalition for the Homeless, invited experts for a panel discussion on COVID-19 vaccines, and have created several informative posts on our Instagram page (@princeton_svp).

As the pandemic begins to subside, SvP is beginning to shift its focus to other public health issues including housing inequality and the opioid epidemic. We are currently organizing a hygiene drive and are trying to set up a team to write and edit informative blog posts with other Students vs. Pandemics chapters.
