Are you a student interested in Advocacy? Did you know that according to a recent survey, approximately 55% of frontline healthcare workers reported symptoms of physician burnout during the pandemic? Do you want to help combat this issue?

If so, join Physician Burnout Awareness!

Our group focuses on raising awareness about physician burnout as well as demonstrating how burnout can be recognized and reduced at all stages of the medical journey. Throughout the academic year, the group will show appreciation for doctors at local hospitals, develop a communications tool to promote compassionate care in collaboration with a Johns Hopkins associate professor and anesthesiologist, and screen films like Do No Harm, among other initiatives geared towards destigmatizing conversations about mental health in the medical community.
