Letters to Strangers (L2S) is the largest global youth-for-youth mental health organization with a chapter based at Princeton seeking to destigmatize mental illness and increase access to affordable, quality treatment. Our main activity is anonymous letter exchanges, but we also provide peer education and work on mental health advocacy projects on campus, such as the Guide to Princeton Mental Health (in collab with USG) two years ago. We are currently looking for new members to join the L2S+Princeton Chapter! If you are interested in joining, please fill out this form!
For more information on the letter exchanges, our past and current projects check out our website: https://l2s.princeton.edu/
If you have any questions, please contact L2S@princeton.edu
All information submitted to the Friend to Friend Fund application will be kept confidential among L2S members of the application review committee.
Applications are reviewed on a ~weekly to ~biweekly basis, with set amounts distributed across the year, so you do not need to worry about funds running out if you apply at later point in the semester. Please apply sooner rather than later however, since processing finances can take time and we do not want you to have to delay your treatment because you're waiting for more funds. Applications will not be judged against each other as every person’s journey is different - the main purpose is just to ensure that someone didn’t apply to the fund frivolously.
