An ideal position for first and second year students. The HPA Communications/Office Assistant will assist the Health Professions Advising (HPA) team with creating and maintaining print and online publications. They will assist with coordination of the weekly Vitals newsletter, regular Facebook page posts, and promotional materials for programming. They will assist with the new HPA website, which may include collecting student and alum stories, and will maintain the HPA library. Additionally, the office assistant will support HPA by working on special projects and performing general office duties such as data entry, campus deliveries, and photocopying. Must be able to use Publisher, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Facebook, Twitter. Photoshop/InDesign skills are a plus. Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study (FWS). Previous office experience and interest in the health professions preferred.  Applicants may be asked to submit samples of publications that they have worked on.
