Students vs Pandemics Princeton invites you to Light at the End of the Tunnel? COVID-19, vaccines, and what’s to come. Discussion topics will include COVID-19 vaccine development and approval, the bioethics of vaccine research and dose distribution, and the threat the anti-vaxxer movement could pose to vaccination efforts. There will also be an opportunity for an open Q&A so be sure to come with questions!
Panelists:
- Dr. Geeta Swamy, MD: FDA Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee member, HHS National Vaccine Advisory Committee member, and VP of research at Duke University.
- Abby Notterman, JD: Bioethicist, attorney, and professor of research ethics and scientific integrity here at Princeton.
- Professor Jonathan Berman: Science advocate, former national co-chair of the 2017 March for Science, and author of Antivaxxers: How to Challenge a Misinformed Movement.
