Job Overview:

• Full-time position with 2-year commitment

• Coordinate multiple clinical research studies, including:

o Phase III clinical trials o Longitudinal follow-up studies
o Patient registries

• Work closely with multiple physicians, primarily in Gastroenterology and Inflammatory Bowel Disease

• Opportunity for daily shadowing in outpatient clinics, as well as regular learning opportunities (lectures, case conferences, grand rounds, etc.)

Job responsibilities:

• Protocol development

• IRB submission and maintenance

• Medical chart review

• Data acquisition and analysis

• Biological sample collection with basic laboratory processing and sample storage

• Manuscript preparation

• Facilitate study enrollment and outpatient follow-up visits

• Daily interaction with physicians, nurses, patients, and families

Preferred qualifications:

• One-year research and/or clinical experience preferred but not required

• Strong interpersonal skills, writing/communication skills, and attention to detail

• Self-starter who takes initiative when appropriate and works well in teams with multi-disciplinary and culturally diverse backgrounds
