As the HPA Adviser, Sachiko works closely with first years and sophomores who are exploring prehealth career options and navigating premed course requirements.
Sachiko earned her Ph.D. in developmental psychology from the University of California, Irvine where her research focused on adolescent decision-making under stress. Many moons ago, Sachiko was an undergraduate at Yale where she studied literature. Her favorite things to do in her free time include eating delicious food, listening to great podcasts, laughing at dogs with her 1-year old daughter, and practicing Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement. Please come by and say hi!
Sachiko participates in HPA Drop-In hours and offers individual appointments for first-years and sophomores. Students can sign up for these appointments on Calendly.
