What topics are you excited to talk about?
MCAT prep
Course selection (for both pre-med classes and distributions)
Scheduling/time management
How to approach professors/preceptors for help, and utilizing McGraw's resources
How to manage the pressure/stress associated with both athletics and academics at Princeton.
What advice would you give to a first- or second-year prehealth student athlete? Find your study buddies! Not only are you able to build community with fellow pre-med students, but having good study buddies will make you feel less alone in some of the weed-out courses. Also! Don’t be afraid to go to office hours/reach out to professors that you might be interested in doing research with. Finally, (and I think most importantly), try not to compare yourself too much with your pre-med peers. They can help you come up with cool ideas to get experience in the medical field, but everyone’s path to becoming a doctor will look different!
Summer 2024 planned activities: I will take the MCAT in August and I will participate in an 8-week summer research program at IU focusing on pediatric glioblastomas/sarcomas. I will also be racing in the UK at the Henley Royal Regatta for the Ivy Club.
